The STEAM Academy is a world class act. Their positivity, passion, enthusiasm, experience and skills are seriously infectious. They have built up tried and tested banks of exciting STEAM activities that incorporate highly imaginative and engaging story-telling which so effectively capture the hands, hearts and minds of the young. Why wait to turbo charge the next generation? They are masters of their craft.
Ian Lane
Principal of St.Patricks Boys National School, Dublin.
I would highly recommend STEAM Academy for their professionalism, enthusiasm and attention to detail of the facilitators. The lessons were really well planned and perfectly pitched at the levels of the students they worked with. The children loved the interactive, hands-on nature of the workshops and the teachers were really impressed with them too. We will definitely have them back to work with our pupils again in the future.

What
we do

We teach STEAM subjects (Science, technology, engineering, Arts, Maths) using modern Educational LEGO Spike Robots in weekly after school classes. Our Curriculum & programmes are trial tested in thousands of lessons with tens of thousands of students - which means that children are engaged throughout the lessons.
During our classes, children learn in pairs how to create functional robots from scratch and learn how to write a working program, using LEGO Education kits and iPad tablets. Each lesson starts with a contextual story in which a problem is presented to the students, which they have to solve by creating a solution - a working robot.
Alanna Swan
Teacher, Dublin.
Why did this not exist when I was in school? This line was iterated and reiterated by me and the other teachers witnessing our first STEAM Academy robotics class. It is energizing to see this technological advancement being harnessed and used so effectively in a student-centric environment, all the while students engaging through FUN. I think robotics class should be in every school – I wish it had been when I was a student!
Hugh Ruddy
Teacher, STEAM Academy Dublin
Working with STEAM Academy's curriculum has been a breath of fresh air. With so many curated lessons and resources available my workshops are always fun and relevant and perfectly structured for the classroom environment. The children love the pace and story surrounding robots they build and get as involved as possible.
